In the middle of June 2022 the fourth Festival of Classical Music Elburg will take place. Beautifully situated on the Veluwe, surrounded by woods and water, the historic town Elburg is a wonderful venue for such a delightful musical event.

During the first two days of the Festival, so-called, Walking concerts take place. On Thursday 16th of June the audience will walk around the estate Zwaluwenburg. There will be three concerts at three different locations: at the Castle Zwaluwenburg, at the historical farm ‘De Zwaluwe’ and in the middle of A.Vogel Gardens. Soprano Olga Zinovieva and bass Thilo Dahlmann will perform for you the Bach’s Peasant Cantata at the historical farm ‘De Zwaluwe’.

On Friday 17th of June the audience visits thee short concerts at three different locations in the city of Elburg: in the Chapel of former Agnieten convent, in the Grote Kerk and in the Raadzaal of the former Agnieten convent.

On Saturday 18th of June, the final concert Hommage to Mozart will take place in the Grote Kerk in Elburg. Soprano Olga Zinovieva will be singing a program with Mozart’s most beautiful concert and opera arias. It seems that Amadeus composed his beautiful compositions exclusively for Olga. As a singer, she has the right voice to perform Mozart’s works: a clear and flexible sound that can bring virtuosic passages and decorations on the highest level and if it is necessary to add drama to her voice.

The Bach Orchestra of the Netherlands performs Mozart’s famous ‘Eine kleine Nachtmusik’.
