In mid-June 2026, the eighth edition of the Elburg Classical Music Festival will take place. Beautifully situated on the Veluwe, surrounded by forests and water, the historic town of Elburg offers the perfect setting for this enchanting musical event.
Thursday, June 11 – Walking Concerts
The festival opens with the beloved Walking Concerts. In one afternoon, the audience will visit three unique locations in Elburg’s old town:

Agnietenklooster Chapel
Stroll through the picturesque alleys and enjoy an intimate recital by soprano Sofia Pedro and gambist Xander Baker. The chapel’s special acoustics provide the perfect backdrop for refined French baroque songs. -
Agnietenklooster Council Chamber
Pianist Vaughan Schlepp leads an inspiring masterclass, offering a fascinating glimpse into the artistry behind the music. -
Great Church
Experience Bach’s humorous Coffee Cantata, performed by soprano Olga Zinovieva, bass Thilo Dahlmann, and tenor Martinus Leusink, accompanied by The Bach Ensemble of the Netherlands.
Friday, June 12 – Mozart in the Monastery Garden (Kloostertuin)
In the idyllic Monastery Garden of Elburg, Olga Zinovieva will perform some of Mozart’s most beautiful and beloved arias: the lyrical Et incarnatus est, the jubilant Alleluia from the motet Exsultate, jubilate, and the touching Geme la tortorella.
Alongside these arias, the program features festive instrumental works, including the sparkling Eine kleine Nachtmusik and the brilliant Flute Concerto in G, KV 313.
Saturday, June 13 – Closing Concert: Vivaldi’s Four Seasons
The festival concludes in the Monastery Garden (Kloostertuin) with Vivaldi’s world-famous masterpiece, The Four Seasons, performed by the musicians of The Bach Orchestra of the Netherlands, with Spanish violin virtuoso Enrique Gómez-Cabrero Fernández as soloist.
In addition, Olga Zinovieva will sing arias from Vivaldi’s opera La verità in cimento, including Rosane’s arias and the deeply moving Sposa son disprezzata. In this aria, portraying the character of Asteria – a woman torn by unrequited love, grief, and despair – Olga Zinovieva’s powerful and intense performance is sure to leave a lasting impression.
The high walls of the Monastery Garden create a unique atmosphere and exceptional acoustics – the perfect setting for a truly unforgettable finale to this special festival.
